Superbad (2007)

Release Date: August 17, 2007

Genre: Comedy, Romance

Description: From producers Judd Apatow and Shauna Robertson ('The 40-Year-Old Virgin'), screenwriters Evan Goldberg & Seth Rogen ("Da Ali G Show"), and director Greg Mottola comes 'Superbad,' a coming-of-age cautionary tale about two socially inept teenage boys about to graduate high school. Theirs is a ridiculously dependent friendship -- but now they've gotten into different colleges and are forced to contemplate life apart. Evan (Michael Cera) is sweet, smart, and generally terrified. Seth (Jonah Hill) is foul-mouthed, volatile, and all-consumed with the topic of human sexuality. This is the story of their misguided attempts to reverse a lifelong losing streak with the ladies in one panic-driven night... that awful, humiliating night you cherish for the rest of your life.

MPAA Rating: Rated R for pervasive crude and sexual content, strong language, drinking, some drug use and a fantasy/comic violent image - all involving teens.

Director: Greg Mottola

Cast: Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse

This movie is superbad. If you are in to raw, crude humor, then you are in for a laugh. It is really raw, crude, high school type humor. If you laugh at that, then you'll like it, but don't watch it with anyone who is not, because they definitely will not find it funny . This movie is certainly not for kids. It is restricted for good reason. The actors are funny and nerdy, which makes the movie funny.
