The story (and I use the term loosely) is actually rooted in partial truth - There was a famous Cipher in the 1800s that supposedly pointed to a buried treasure trove. That's where the reality ends, sadly... As Nicolas Cage tries to make the audience believe there's secret writing on just about every famous landmark.
There are some veteran actors (Jon Voight, Helen Mirren & Ed Harris) who wander through this shoddy quest looking for their paycheque.
Terrible movie. Not even worth renting.
