As it often happens, love at first sight for young Florentino (Javier Bardem) proves anything but simple when Fermina (Giovanna Mezzogiorno) is sent far away by her overprotective father (John Leguizamo). Over the next five decades, the pair find other mates, but no other kindred spirits. Set in early 1900s South America, this sweeping adaptation of the Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel co-stars Marcela Mar, Gina Bernard Forbes. Soundtrack: English.
